CLASS DESCRIPTIONS Level 1 Yoga: Appropriate for any decade of life or level of experience. Class is slower paced, incorporating breath, meditation and foundamentals. Light atmosphere and questions are welcome. Hatha Yoga: All-levels class. Hatha is a classic style of yoga which can utilize breath, alignment, chanting, meditation and awareness to bring about the state of yoga. Yoga Flow: All-levels class. A vinyasa style class linking poses together in a conscious way to help us go deeper within. Build flexibility, strength, focus and enjoy harmonizing body, mind and spirit. Sunrise Yoga Flow: Energize mind, body and spirit prior to getting involved in your day. A great start to the morning! Lunch Yoga: A mid-day refresher. Return to the rest of your day with great clarity and ease. Yoga Tots: Ages 2-5. A fun activity for your kids incorporating yoga, stories, games and imagination. Parent is welcome to stay or be nearby. Kids Yoga: Ages 6-10. Kids love having fun with yoga. A great introduction to handling emotions, building confidence and self awareness. Prenatal Yoga: Pregnancy is a wonderful time to practice yoga. It helps alleviate common aches, prepare for labor and motherhood, relax and connect to the present while undergoing change. Ashtanga Yoga: A system of yoga popularized by Pattabhi Jois. It is a classical form of yoga based on the 8 limbs. It is typically a challenging flow style class incorporating pranayma. Yoga and Meditation: A well rounded all-levels yoga class including stretching and strengthening. Your mind and body will be prepared to meditate at the end of class. Mommy-n-Me: Appropriate for babies up to walking. Moms have the opportunity to practice yoga, breathing, bonding with their babies and spending time with moms.Addresses developmental needs for baby's first year. Yoga Basics: Great for beginners or anyone wishing to spend a little more time on foundations of alignment in poses. Gentle Yoga: A gentle exploration of yoga, incorporating yogic breathing, meditation, and restorative poses. Especially welcoming to people looking to wind down from a busy day, those with limited mobility, or those looking for a gentle introduction to yoga. Level 1/2: Though fine for a fit beginner, this class is best suited to those with an understanding of yoga. May incorporate yoga philosophy, sound, nidra, pranayama, bandhas, breath and meditation. Power Flow: An energizing and invigorating vinyasa style class. Appropriate for anyone looking for a more challenging class. Intermediate Yoga: Appropriate for people with some experience with yoga and the desire to work towards more challenging poses or sequences. May include pranayama, chanting or meditation. Meditation: Promote clarity of mind and inner peace through a variety of meditation techniques. Enjoy numerous physical benefits such as decreased blood pressure, stress hormones, and increased immunity with regular practice. All-levels welcome. Yin Yoga: All levels. Poses are held for a longer period of time. This allows connective tissue to relax adhesions to break up and range of flexibility to increase. Quiet the mind while the body is still. Kundalini Yoga: All levels. Kundalini Yoga is a precise technology of the mind and body to elevate the spirit and release the power of the individual to excel and fulfill their destiny. Classes can be very physically intense but also emphasizing breath, mudras, and meditation.
